Welcome to Seasons of Slow!
I’m so thrilled to be writing you the very first ‘toolkit’.
You can expect these toolkits every two weeks (on opposite weeks from the free newsletter) throughout the year. I might skip some weeks when we have a masterclass or coaching call to keep the flow gentle for us all.
Before I get on with the main part of the toolkit, please mark your diary for 8pm AEST on June 13th - that’s next Tuesday - for our very first one of those calls. I’m taking you through my seasonal planning process which is one of the core tenets of our work together. I’ll start a thread with more details later in the week but let’s just say it’s something you’ll come back to time and again.
Nature Starts With Rest and So Will We
There are so many places we could start with our slow living journey. You’ve seen my Quad-Venn that shows this in visual form. Every season has it’s entry point for slowing down.
Since we're in the Winter season, let's take our cue from nature and start with rest. I like to imagine animals burying a seed in Autumn, the seed gathers energy through the fallow period of Winter to emerge in Spring. You’re a metaphorical seed and you’ll gain clarity about what you might grow into, if you take the time to rest.
Here’s another visual for you.
