Imagine you’re hosting a party.
You’ve invite everyone you know. Immediate family, extended family, mum friends, high school friends, neighbours, work colleagues, clients, people from your gym, even your social media connections. Everyone.
Most of these groups of people don’t know each other all that well so you’ll spend the party introducing everyone and helping them make connections. The one thing they all have in common is…you!
How do you feel about that?
I feel tired just thinking about it. Not just organising something like that but mostly having to be ‘on’. Ask me a year ago and I would’ve said it’s because I have social anxiety and I’m an introvert. So I started to observe myself and my energy levels in social situations.
What I discovered is very interesting and I think it has helped me in these 3 big ways.
